ELEVATE 5K :: HARRIS FAMILY
if you’d like to donate → elevateutah.com/elevate5k ← one thing i love about making documentaries is getting to know amazing people. the harris family was no exception. they are an inspirational family to anyone and everyone, teaching by example at every turn. it was a pleasure to film them, as well as hear all three kids play a few instruments, singing whatever songs they felt like. i wish i could’ve taken some more time to make some stellar music videos!
ELEVATE 5K :: CAMPBELL FAMILY
it’s an awesome feeling to be a part of something bigger than yourself. filming the campbell family, along with two other families in total, i was able to participate in a creative way in the elevate 5k charity event, happening on april 20th, which just so happens to be my birthday. hopefully this video convinces you to be a part of it!

it rained all the way up to slc from provo. fortunately for everyone, it was SNOWING and not raining in temple square. that made all the difference for the photography at least. in fact, it actually made every shot that much more exciting even though the bitter cold required the bride & groom to take a few breaks inside the visitor’s center to get warm. overall, it was an awesome day.
ISLES TRICK PHOTOBOOTH
this is what happens when you get bored of shooting the same ol’ photo booth… you decide to go above and beyond with a custom backdrop [courtesy of troy eddy], glow in the dark toys, long exposures, tripods and other unique items in order to do trick photography. there was a ton of work to do in post, but i mean, look at the images. was it worth it?

zumbathon @ infinity event center
This was my 1st real experience with zumba and dang, I think I’m converted. There was SO much energy there, I couldn’t help but dance between shots. It was also the most crowded I’ve ever seen that venue–there was seriously almost no room for filming on the floor. You’ll notice that I actually got in the MIDDLE of the zumba dancers to get some intense shots… yeah, it was seriously dangerous for both my camera AND my face [fast-moving flailing arms hurt dude].
